Go With The FLOW

Summer camp brings back many fond memories for me.  The mountains, hiking, swimming, games, bonfires and often terrible food are all special memories that are tucked away with others from my childhood.  I know that my experiences from summer camp are a piece of the developmental puzzle that formed me.  Where else would you learn that you are specially gifted to eat virtually anything and have a special talent for catching eggs with your bare hands?

The camps I went to and the FLOW, however, are more than just ordinary summer camps.  Being isolated in God’s breathtaking creation and separated from the busy-ness of everyday life allowed me to deepen relationships like nowhere else.   The result of this was a profound
camaraderie with friends but more importantly a renewed, invigorated and closer fellowship with God.  This is really our goal at the FLOW.  Yes there will be white- water rafting, high-ropes course, paintball, horseback riding, sports and some crazy and most likely messy games, but hopefully what everyone involved will remember most is how their relationships deepened.  The true objective this June will be for each student to take a new step in their relationship with God each and every day, be able to verbalize what they believe, and return motivated to make a splash for Christ in their community.

We have the living water that the world thirsts for, why keep it to ourselves?  If you want to learn how to share your faith, understand how Christ’s commission applies to your life and have a ton of fun in the process, join us June 14th- 19th as we learn how to make a splash for Christ.  Though learning to catch raw eggs is a beneficial life skill, learning how to practically live out your faith in a fallen world is really what it’s all about.
