Matt Leszczynski - Pastor of Music & Worship
Matt leads congregational worship on Sundays & Wednesdays and special events including dramas and musicals. He directs the Adult Choir, the Orchestra, the Crossroads Choir for students, and coordinates three Children’s Choirs as well as planning for solos, ensembles, and concerts by various artists and groups.
Matt grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Bourbonnais, Illinois. He graduated from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago with a Bachelor of Music degree in sacred music with an emphasis in piano performance. Matt began serving at Community Bible Church in June of 2003. He has been married to Abby, also a Moody Bible Institute graduate, since July of 2003. She sings in the Adult Choir and teaches one of the Children’s Choirs. Their daughter, Elena, was born in October of 2005, their son, Clayton, was born in October of 2007, and their daughter, Audra was born in March of 2010. Before coming to Beaufort, Matt and Abby both served in the music ministry of Bethel Community Church in Chicago.
